Two eclipses are coming this August, and Eclipse Guide is getting ready for both. First up is the total solar eclipse on August 12. Then, on August 27–28, comes a partial lunar eclipse.
For the solar eclipse, every second counts. In many places, the key moments will happen just before sunset, and the viewing window may be very short. That’s why we’ve refined the calculations and updated the maps, with event times accurate down to the second.
